TWICE Nayeon Shares Aegyo Stories

[Photos by Baek Sooyeon] Nayeon’s aegyo has no limit.

On May 15 the members of girl group TWICE held a showcase in Hannam’s Blue Square, Seoul, to launch their 4th mini album SIGNAL.

That day, Nayeon shared a story behind the recording of the song saying, ‘’Before recording our new single Signal we did a lot of teaching. The song starts with a cute rap and Park Jinyoung told us to be as cute as though we were really sending a love signal. But it’s hard to be put on aegyo while singing. We listened to his advice and practiced our aegyo a lot.’’

Title song SIGNAL is a rhythmical R&B track that relies on electronic instruments. This is the meeting of TWICE’s refreshing concept and The Asiansoul, Park Jinyoung’s composing talent.

Meanwhile, mini-album SIGNAL contains six tracks including SIGNAL.
