E.LAND Grafts SPA Brand onto Eating-Out Business

On November 14 E.LAND Group announced that it would open ‘E.LAND Complex Hall’ in Gyeongju-si on November 15. ‘E.LAND Complex Hall’ is urban shopping complex.
The big five-story building includes stores that target customers aged 10s to 30s, including coffee shop, family restaurant, and new SPA brands that are first introduced in Gyeongju.
E.LAND also announced that it will open more shopping complex in other cities soon. It is now planning on building a family-oriented shopping complex that makes families feel like going on a picnic.
E.LAND official said, “Shopping complex is a strong distribution channel that can confront foreign SPA brands which have been largely expanded in Korea. As having fashion brands that meets local people’s taste and various restaurants, our shopping complex will improve competitiveness, and we will open 50 or more malls until 2014.”
