Lee Min Ho’s Wax Figure To Be Displaced in Hong Kong Madame Tussauds
[by Chloe Yun] World’s wax museum Madame Tussauds revealed Korean actor Lee Min Ho’s wax figure, which will be displaced in Hong Kong exhibition throughout this year.
Lee Min Ho is the first and only Korean celebrity to have a wax figure created by Madame Tussauds. The actor’s stylist picked the clothes—slim-fit black suit and blue bowtie—for the figure, in order to make it more realistic.
With his drama series ‘Boys Over Flowers’ in 2009, Lee Min Ho started getting much attention of the Asia. As appearing another mega hit show ‘The Heirs,’ he won five awards and has been recognized as one of the hottest stars in Asia.
The chief manager of Madame Tussauds Hong Kong said, “We are very happy to announce that Lee Min Ho was chosen as the very first Korean star to make a wax figure. "
"We’d like to congratulate his big achievement from the year-end awards, and we are highly expecting that his wax figure will be one of the most popular one at Madame Tussauds Hong Kong,” he continued.
